The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky is offering a free webinar about Kentucky drug overdose and prevention programs on Thursday, May 23 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. Registration is required.
Two speakers will be featured in the webinar. Terry Bunn, director of the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center, will discuss FindHelpNowKY.org, which provides links to substance use disorder treatment facilities with available openings.
Ty Borders, director of the Rural and Underserved Health Research Center at the University of Kentucky, will share recent research findings on opioid use disorder treatment policies and access in both Kentucky and the nation. Borders is the foundation's endowed chair in rural health policy.
